The City of Milwaukee and Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) are proposing improvements to approximately 1 mile of WIS 32 (S. 1st Street) from W. Lapham Boulevard to E. Florida Street.

Proposed improvements include:

• Replace entire pavement structure from W. Lapham Boulevard to E. Florida Street
• Replace curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards
• Update traffic signals
• Evaluate dedicated bus or bicycle facilities

• Bus-Only Lane
• Parking Protected Bike Lane
• Separate Bike Lane
