Project Overview
The City of Milwaukee and Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) are planning to improve W. Fond du Lac Avenue (WIS 145) from N. 20th Street to N. 12th Street. The project proposes the replacement of 0.75 miles of pavement in the City of Milwaukee. The project will also evaluate adding dedicated facilities for people biking along the corridor. Construction is tentatively scheduled for 2029.
Proposed Improvements
- Replace entire pavement structure from N. 12th Street to N. 19th Street
- Patch existing concrete pavement from N. 19th Street to N. 20th Street
- Replace curb ramps to meet ADA standards
- Update traffic signals
