Construction on this project is now complete and the street is open to two-way traffic!

The City of Milwaukee, in partnership with the East Side Business Improvement District, made improvements to E. North Avenue from N. Humboldt Boulevard to N. Prospect Avenue in Fall 2024. Improvements include:

  • New asphalt and lane restriping
  • ADA-compliant sidewalk curb ramps
  • Concrete barriers for permanent bike lane protection
  • Bus boarding islands
