The City of Milwaukee is initiating a traffic safety improvement project on Roosevelt Drive between Burleigh Steet and Capitol Drive. This project is an opportunity to reimagine this residential boulevard with traffic calming and new protected bike lanes to slow motor vehicle speeds and improve safety for people walking, biking, and driving. The project goals are to create safer intersections, slow vehicle speeds, and diversify transportation options by adding protected bike lanes.
